MEET THE PEOPLE

The school community  is an intricate web of people who work hard everyday to allow the  school to operate, to be a positive stimulating place for us to  learn. In each month’s issue we will introduce a few of the people  which surround us everyday, the people which we never take the  time to meet beyond their role in the school: teachers, staff,  executives…  
This month we are introducing two people which we all interact  with every single day: Cosetta and Gianluca, our kitchen managers.

COSETTA

Cosetta is the Kitchen Manager at the H-international school MYP/DP  building, working for the catering service Ottavian.  

She tells us that she really enjoys her job because it is different and more flexible than jobs which she has worked at in the past, the canteen at our school allows her to be more creative and prepare a wide range of dishes for us.  

COSETTA’S PASSIONS  

In her free time, Cosetta remains dedicated to her love for cooking. When she isn’t busy being a mom, she enjoys watching movies. 

FUN FACT ABOUT COSETTA  

Cosetta lives nearby, she recently moved back after living for 25 years near Milan, to rejoin her family which is from the area around the school. 

FAVORITE DISH 

She doesn’t have one specific favorite dish, but she loves all food that is savory in general.


GIANLUCA

Gianluca is also the Kitchen manager working at our campus. After finishing his studies at a hotel instate a couple of years ago, he moved to Germany to pursue his cooking career and had several experiences in the sector. He later moved back to Italy where he started working for the collective catering business Ottaviani, which he has worked for since January of 2020.  

The company then gave him the opportunity to work at our campus, which he says that he enjoys very much because it is distinct from traditional canteens, the food can vary and he has the opportunity to put his own experience and knowledge into the food that he prepares for us.  

GIANLUCA’S PASSIONS  

Cooking also remains a very strong passion for him, often when he goes home he loves to experiment with different cuisines and recipes.  

He also has a passion for sport and in  his free time also playing video games  on the Play Station
