H-FARM : OPEN DAY FOR PARENTS
A group of students from MYP3 to DP2 decided to become boarding ambassadors and show parents who came to visit our school around the campus. The students actively worked to support the parents and answer their questions about campus life. Our sports facilities, boarding house, and the school itself were all shown to the parents. People were incredibly interested and engaged in the school system and how the after-school activities worked; many people came with their children to show them around or to take the entrance exam. This experience could be considered educational for both students and parents. The visitors saw and learned about our school, which has a very different system than Italian schools, and they learned about the IB program, which they may not have known about before. Students learned important life skills such as engaging and being patient with visitors. We also had the opportunity to speak about our experiences at school and the types of activities we participate in. As a boarding student who attended last year's open day, it was critical for me to provide information about the school to people who were unfamiliar with the school system. By Sofia S
